Hello, It is permissible to carry food through TSA, however there are guidelines to adhere to. In general, solid items like fruits, sandwiches, and snacks are permitted without any limitations. But liquids and gels, such as yogurt, soups, and sauces, have to follow the 3-1-1 rule, which states that they have to be in 3.4-ounce or smaller containers. Packing solid food has always been easy for me when I travel through different airports, but liquid or spreadable snacks frequently require extra attention.
